One of the joys of 2020 was working on an incredibly stylish shoot at The Gateways Inn, in Lenox Massachusetts. Together with other local, Berkshire vendors we collaborated to make this dream shoot come true. It was classic with a vintage vibe and focused on the groomsmen. They were not only our models, but are the members of the talented The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow band. You can listen to their music here. When Rebecca Daly of Whitlock and Cooper Events and Susie Hanna of Daisy Stone Studio approached me with this idea, I knew I wanted to be part of it. When they shared their vision of a shoot focused on the groomsmen amid a botanical and edgy scene my associate Lisa and I were so excited. You can catch a glimpse of our set up and behind the scenes thanks to Bottle Tree Pictures. We are also so thankful to have our work published in Berkshire Magazine.

“Our collaboration is part of the DNA of the Berkshires and the artists who live here—that which my wife Susie Hanna, Rebecca and Tricia so flawlessly executed with this styled shoot. Music in the Berkshires is all about sharing and learning to share with musicians from different walks of life, stylistic educations and influences, from wildly varying backgrounds. Gateways is a very special place because it has represented this dynamic for decades. The space is classy, but deeply inviting. It’s as comfortable as the dynamic we seek to create on stage every time we perform; it’s like coming home.”
