JOSH AND SIVAN’S TANGLEWOOD WEDDING

Josh and Sivan’s Tanglewood wedding was a day full of family and tradition. When I first met them at their engagement session at The Mount, I knew right away that they had a special connection and so much love for their family (and of course Miso, their dog). The love surrounding both Josh and Sivan was evident from the moment I walked in on the day of their wedding. I was so happy to see them again on such a perfect, sunny Berkshire day and finally get to meet their families. Sivan’s group of friends showed up during family photos to cheer her on and they were all wearing patterns of blue (a vision Sivan had for the day).

Before the ceremony, Josh hosted a Tisch. There was singing, the energy was high, and family and friends shared their well wishes for Josh. Together, they signed the Ketubah both sets of parents could not stop smiling. This was followed by the traditional Bedeken ceremony on the wrap around porch overlooking the mountains behind Tanglewood. Josh veiled Sivan and prayers from their parents were said over them. The love between both families was just so special.

Josh and Sivan met on Hinge, but they joked during toasts that her mom still believes they were set up by a rabbi. The wedding toasts are my favorite part of the day and they had a collection of family members who told the sweetest anecdotes from all different points in their lives.

Thank you for trusting us to photograph the joining of two beautiful families.

Congratulations!
