Lauren and Jason’s wedding at August Moon was the perfect Berkshire backdrop for the sweetest couple. 

I’m so grateful to Event Planner, Magdalena of Magdalena Events introducing us to Lauren and Jason. Their wedding had the vibe of end of summer nostalgia best celebrated with your favorite people.  To make their friends and family feel welcome, Lauren and Jason included a casual brunch the morning of their wedding with a garden party feel. To follow was a formal ceremony among wild flowers and a mountain backdrop and then an intimate dinner provided by Marcey Brownstein Catering under a warmly lit tent and a dance floor that was packed all night long courtesy of Remixologists.

Lauren and Jason met at Yale and “sorta” knew each other, but were set up years later by their mutual friends Nathan and Caroline. This couple were set to be married in 2020, but COVID derailed their plans and so not willing to wait any longer, they married privately in Big Sur, California.  Their 2022 celebration was planned to be the party that would reunite all the people that the pandemic kept them from and that it was! What made it all the more special was they were able to have their twins, Theo and Linnea alongside them through the entire day. Their first dance together was truly a highlight from all the weddings I’ve shot this year. 

I’m obsessed with the kind nature of this couple and the easy way they were with one another, the love between their families and their children, the refined rustic appeal of the August Moon which they married on and how wonderful it was to work with such a rockstar team of vendors.
