They shared their love story to me in a video and I melted. “Please pick me!”….and luckily they did. 

Katie a Berkshires native like me, decided to move to NY for a new degree and a new adventure. Anticipating that move, she and a boy named Jake began a conversation on Tinder and they both swiped right. 

Fast forward 4 days later and Katie was giving herself a pep talk in the parking garage before getting the courage to meet up for a first date with Jake.  When they saw each other they went straight for the hug and as Katie described it, it was less of a  “it’s nice to meet you” embrace and more of a “there you are, I’ve been looking for you for the longest time” connection. 

If Katie and Jake were smitten with each other from day one, so was I with them!! We met in the same spot they did – Ben & Jerry’s on the corner of Phila and Putam street in Saratoga Springs. Right away their warmth and love they had for each other pulled me right in. Their engagement session was such fun. 

Katie, Jake and I stayed in touch throughout their wedding planning and as a fitness instructor, I especially loved watching Katie’s #100sweatsbeforethedress story on Instagram. She totally insipired me to start counting macros and it’s made such a difference for me personally.  Say what you will about social media but it’s pretty cool when you get to know your clients personally through their Insta stories. 

Fast forward to their wedding day during Memorial Day Weekend at the Mansion Inn – all the love from friends and family, good food (cheeseburgers and tacos) and dancing they had dreamed of came true. It was magical and I feel honored to have been there to capture it.
