Rebecca and Dan’s wedding at Tanglewood was so sweet and full of music. It’s not surprising that Becca and Dan, who were studying music business at NYU, would fall in love and someday get married Tanglewood in the Berkshires. Tanglewood has been a place that Rebecca has been coming to every summer since she was a month old. Her grandparents own a home down the road from Tanglewood and for generations, they have been enjoying the music from the Koussevitzky Music Shed.

As a couple, I met Rebecca and Dan about 6 years ago when I photographed Rebecca as a bridesmaid in her cousin Jess’s wedding at The Mount. Little did I know then, but Rebecca could have been taking mental notes about who she would want to photograph her own wedding to Dan, who was also there and meeting her family for the first time. Almost exactly 2 years prior to their wedding day, I met Rebecca and Dan in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. We met to take fall engagement photos together and we chatted about their upcoming 2020 wedding. None of us knew then that their plans would change many times!

While they waited the extra year to have the wedding they wanted, they spent time choreographing, taking dance classes, and perfecting their first dance. It was so creative and fun and I had so much fun capturing it. The party got even better when Dan and his talented friends joined the band to perform. Then for their afterparty Rebecca and Dan rented a piano from Tanglewood and Dan took requests for songs while people sang along.
