I met Stephanie & Chad in June for their engagement session. I was awesome meeting these two. We got together and had a glass of wine together at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge before our session and it seemed like we had been friends for awhile.

These two are adorable (and tall!!). They listen to each other, laugh at each other and really seem to respect each others ideas when it comes to the wedding planning. Chad is from the Berkshires while Steph is not, but she loves everything about the Berkshires and is excited to share it with friends and family on their wedding day.

They brought along a bottle of wine from their trip to Barcelona to share during the session, and I thought the images came out perfect. They were so them! Steph shared the story of the bottle with me:

“Several years ago, as my Christmas gift to Chad, we took a 6 week wine course where we learned and sampled many different kinds of wine.  We found this Italian wine- lambrusco rosso- that we both really loved- its the perfect combo of a little bit of sweetness with a little bit of sparkle.  It’s a little hard to find around the Boston area, so we are excited whenever we come across it in a store.  In the fall of 2013 we went to Barcelona and Madrid, Spain for a work conference that I was presenting at.  It was Chad’s first time to Europe, and we have a great time drinking our way through Spain!  We toured a winery outside of Barcelona, and had wine with every meal. Our last day in Madrid we picked up a few bottles of Lambrusco to bring home with us and felt we should bring one to our engagement shoot too. “
