Picture yourself on the most perfect fall day in October surrounded by water and mountains and gorgeous changing color. This was our canvas when Tanya & Dominic married on October 11 with a ceremony and reception at the Sagamore Resort on beautiful Lake George.

On this particular day, I had Jaclyn of Jaclyn L Photography with me to second shoot. We have such a great time when we pair up together and I love to see her creativity at work.  

Right from the start I knew I would love Tanya and Dominic. Their first inquiry mentioned all the things that are so important to me in capturing a wedding. Tanya told me that she was looking for someone to capture candid moments, emotions, laughter, tears and dancing. She mentioned how important it was to capture the feeling of the wedding…not just the love between the two of them, but of family and friends too. I loved these sentiments. I couldn’t agree more.

Their warmth and caring surrounded them the entire wedding day. They weaved new and old traditions, culture and family into every aspect of the day. The feel of the wedding was fun and festive and it felt really special to be a part of.
