Throughout Vanessa and Gaurav’s wedding weekend, I was completely enchanted over the rituals of their celebration. Two different faiths were represented beautifully on their wedding day.
The dances during the party the night before, called the Mehndi and the Groom’s arrival to the wedding, called the Baraat brought together multiple generations of family to celebrate together. The ceremony had so much depth and meaning and emphasized the strong role of family in their life.
Vanessa then changed into her gorgeous white wedding gown and met with Gaurav for the first look and bridal portraits throughout Park Square. The Reception included a Christian ceremony in front of their guests before they danced through the night.
It’s not typical that I am given the chance to capture the beauty of two celebrations in one and I loved every moment. Thank you Vanessa and Gaurav for being such loving people and allowing Tricia McCormack Photography to be there with you.
Congratulations today and always!
