Elise and Ian met freshman year at Northeastern. Ian was coming back from his first semester in Australia and Elise was starting her first semester too, so they both ended up at the same orientation session. During Ian’s adventures in Australia, he had made some new friends and as luck would have it, Elise had gone to high school with one of them. With mutual friends and some sparks flying between them, Ian made his move. He asked if Elise wanted to get their ID picture together and well as they say, the rest is history and here we are talking about their wedding day. 

I love a good college love story. Don’t you? I’ll admit that’s how I met my husband too!

I am so excited to share these photos from Elise and Ian’s August wedding day at the Liberty Hotel, you can feel the love between them and for friends and of family. There’s love and representation of Boston too. They shared with me that together they have driven across the country, have recently moved to Arizona and have taken many vacations abroad. So when we were on the roof of the Liberty Hotel during sunset and Elise looked out to the Charles River view and said out loud with arms up “the best city in the world!”, I felt so happy that the sky was putting on an incredible show of colors and we had caught it on camera.
