I loved meeting up with Ari and Oren to hear about their love of the Berkshires. One of the things that my clients have in common is a nostalgic love for this amazing place, and I love this—because I was the same way when I was married 15 years ago. I lived in Manhattan, and so did my husband. We loved coming to the Berkshires to plan our “destination wedding” and also knew our guests would love having a nearby weekend away.

So it was a blast to hear about how Ari grew up spending her summers at the Berkshires, and now both Ari’s and Oren’s parents own homes there, where they can go hiking, biking, running—and best of all, where they can play pond hockey in the winter.

Ari and Oren met in college about 7 ½ years ago. Ari was a junior at the time, about to study abroad in Europe for 6 months, and Oren was a semester away from graduating. They dated long distance for a year and a half before Ari moved to New York City (where Oren was living), and they have been there ever since.
