David and David got married at Wheatleigh in an intimate ceremony officiated by Jayne Atkinson-Gill. They exchanged very personal vows that brought emotion in each of us.  The whole day was perfect and exactly what they had envisioned. After photos, they enjoyed their first meal as newly wed with an exquisite dinner menu created just for them.

For years, I worked with David P. at Blantyre Resort. We were together on many wedding days, but I especially remember him helping me during a surprise proposal. We teamed up to make sure it was executed seamlessly without ruining the surprise. It took a little longer than we expected and I was hiding behind a tree. David kept checking on me (seen in one of the top photos).  Fast forward to this year, I was thrilled when David asked me to photograph his wedding. David and David hoped for pictures in the Berkshire landscape and Wheatleigh couldn’t have provided a more perfect backdrop.

A note from the couple:

“I have worked with Tricia professionally for years through various roles at Blantyre in Lenox. I have always been impressed with her professionalism, her eye – a vivid attention to detail and her exuberant personality. When it came time for our elopement at Wheatleigh, I reached out to Tricia and immediately gained new insights to her talents, this time through the lens of a client. From the start, she listened to our needs and assisted in the formation of our direction. Tricia understood and helped us realize our vision through her knowledge of our venue. From the timing of the daylight to the season’s foliage and perennial flowers, she escorted us throughout the property to capture the best moments of this spectacular day, and of ourselves. The end result is a beautiful collection of images that we will refer to and treasure forever. Lastly, we thank Tricia for spending Mother’s Day with us, a meaningful day for our ceremony that was made more special by her involvement.”

Congratulations!
